French Shopping Baskets and African Market Baskets
We are suppliers of fairly traded handmade French style couffin shopping baskets and African market baskets - an attractive, environmentally friendly alternative to plastic bags, with a wide variety of other uses, for wholesale and retail purchases.
Our woven baskets are sturdy and hard wearing, offering years of use and excellent value for money. From lightweight couffin baskets to robust reed carriers, we offer something for all tastes.
Ideal for all types of shopping, BasketBasket products are also used for the beach, picnics, laundry, household storage and much more. They make excellent gifts, although most of our customers like to keep a basket or two for themselves!
As all our baskets are handmade, some may vary slightly from the photos and the details on this site. Each one, however, is chic and unique.
The baskets come from Ghana, Madagascar and Morocco but are well known in markets all over France and Spain. We are always on the look out for new styles so the site is updated regularly.
